Client Feedback
Jennifer Greenberg is amazing. She came to our house on short notice when my wife was struggling with breastfeeding our first child and she was so nice, informative, thorough, encouraging, and caring. Not only was she great with her onsite visit, but she proactively followed up shortly after she left and was even kind enough to Facetime with my wife to help her use our new breastpump for the first time, as well as the next day. Her notes and diagnosis from our consultation were so helpful as well. She is simply great at what she does and a lifesaver for new moms. - Ron S.
Jennifer Greenberg was incredible. She was the 4th lactation consultant I saw, but the only one who was finally able to figure out our nursing issues. She obtained a history of my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum course and then did a very thorough assessment of me and my daughter's mouth, latch, suck and diagnosed multiple barriers to our feeding situation. The previous lactation consultants and nurses that we met with did not do such a detailed assessment, which prevented me from ultimately saving my milk supply.
Jen is incredibly approachable, thorough, realistic and skilled. I also found her to be really compassionate and understanding of how difficult and frustrating my personal situation was and my breastfeeding intentions.
I have recommended her a few times already and will continue to refer her to anyone. I just wish I called her first! - Jasmine M.

Jennifer was simply amazing. I was struggling with breastfeeding and was at my wits end until she came along! I had gone to multiple lactation clinics and appointments but Jennifer gave me by far the best insights and advice on what was going on and what to do (with zero judgement of what I wanted to do!) She came to the house and did a full comprehensive intake on me and my baby and together, we came up with a plan for breastfeeding that worked for me and my daughter. Jennifer is an educator and makes sure she can explain everything she asks you to do. I cannot recommend her services highly enough! - Olivia B.
Jennifer is like Mary Poppins for infants!! I contacted her twice for different issues with my little one, and she quickly resolved them during each two-hour home visit.
Reasons I gave her five stars:
- she fixed our son's feeding problems right away, during the home visit.
- she validated every problem/concern we had, and provided concrete executable solution. Never vague. Never hand-wavy. Never dismissing any issue.
- she provided help not only for feeding, but also in exercising and sleeping.
- she wrote up detailed reports after the visit.
Details from my two experiences:
- The first time was when my son was 11 days old. He wouldn't latch during breastfeeding, and Jen taught me how to properly latch, and how to observe his suckle & swallow ratio. She also helped me with selecting pumping flanges.
- The second time I called her was a different issue. Little one likes to be breastfed but just wouldn't take a bottle. Only 0.5 to 2 oz per feed. We tried everything we can for a month but in vain. Like last time, Jennifer came to our house, and viola, my son took a full 4oz under her guidance! That's never happened before! Now that he is eating enough, he's also sleeping longer and I'm also getting enough sleep. - Crystal S.

Jennifer is by far the best lactation consultant I have worked with for either of my two children. At seven weeks old, we were struggling to get my daughter to take a bottle and then one day she just stopped accepting the bottle all together. With my return to work just weeks away, we were trying everything we could find for advice on getting a breastfed baby to take a bottle - nothing was working. When I initially called Jennifer, she spent 20 minutes with me on the phone listening to our struggles and offering some ideas of different bottles to try. Then when she came for the two hour home visit, she was able to get my daughter to take a bottle within seconds! The amount of relief this provided me brought tears to my eyes. She continued over the next two hours to not only offer other excellent tips and tricks for us to try with breastfeeding, tummy time, etc., but also was incredibly skilled at educating me on what my daughter was experiencing, why it happened and how we can work to support her. I would recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for lactation support, you will not be disappointed!! - Lindsay W.
Jennifer is a godsend. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, she is caring, kind and PATIENT! She helped me become comfortable breastfeeding and caring for my baby in general. She remains super supportive and responsive even five months after our first meeting. I once emailed her frantically on a Saturday night with feeding concerns. She responded immediately in the most comforting and non-judgmental tone. I thought she would think I was NUTS but she encouraged further questions and followed up until she heard that I was feeling better about the situation.
Jen is simply a wealth of knowledge and has provided us with resources on sleep habits among other topics that are helpful when learning how to take care of a newborn. She is pleasant and truly loving. As much as she interacted with me - being the one breastfeeding - she coached my husband on bottle feeding, burping and swaddling. She became part of our family over the course of two visits (and a million emails from a first time mom).
I would recommend her (and do!) to anyone! - Paula K.
